Our busy lives are assailed with images, to the point where we sub-consciously dismiss those images which don't immediately appeal to our curiosity. As a consequence, boring photographs don't get a second chance, as our eyes scan for more interesting subjects. As the majority of images we see are at eye level, it follows that to attract attention, devices such as billboards etc were invented. But there are many instances where the image cannot take a different form, such as shop windows and websites. But there is another way ... |
